Overview
A scheduled task is capable of doing many things. In its simplest form, it can execute an update against one of your data connections. Or it can take a snapshot of data in one connection and add it to a table in another data connection. Or you can select data fitting a specific criterion and email the results to a nominated recipient. There is an endless array of useful options available.
